Getting started
Just bought a tracker? Setup takes about two minutes.
Before you start
Charge the tracker with the included cable until the light shows solid. First charge can take up to 2 hours.
Find your registration card — it's in the box, with a QR code and your activation code printed on it. Keep this card; it's your proof of ownership.
Activate
Go to the Register tab below.
Tap Scan QR code and point your camera at the card — or type the code in (it looks like BK-XXXX-XXX).
Create your account with an email and password. Name your bike so you recognise it.
First fix
Turn the tracker on and take it outside or near a window. GPS needs sky — the first fix can take a couple of minutes.
Open the map. When your bike appears as the orange dot, you're live.
Mount the tracker on your bike using the kit — hidden spots work fine (under the saddle, inside the frame bag). It doesn't need to see the sky once it has a fix; near-sky is enough.
Day to day
The tracker sleeps when the bike is still and wakes on movement — that's what makes the battery last about a week. Charge it weekly, like your lights.
Drag the map to look around; double-tap to snap back to your bike.
If something's not working
No dot on the map: check the tracker is charged and has been outdoors for a couple of minutes.
Code not recognised: check for typos — 0 vs O. Still stuck? Contact support with a photo of your card.
Your tracker includes 3 years of connectivity. No SIM to buy, no subscription, nothing to top up.

What Bikes&.co is
The Bikes&.co Tracker is a location aid to help you find your bike. It is not a security system, an alarm, or theft insurance, and it does not prevent theft.
Connectivity
Each tracker includes 3 years of mobile connectivity from the date of purchase. This relies on third-party mobile networks. UK operators plan to switch off the 2G networks these trackers use from 2029 onwards. We can't guarantee coverage beyond that, or in areas with weak signal, underground, or indoors.
No guarantee of recovery
We can't promise the tracker will always report, that a fix will always be accurate, or that your bike will be recovered if stolen. GPS gaps, flat batteries, network outages, tampering, and signal blackspots all happen. Use the tracker as one layer of protection alongside a good lock and insurance.
Service availability
We aim to keep the service running but don't offer a guaranteed uptime. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control (network, hosting, power). We're not liable for loss, damage, or theft resulting from the service being unavailable or a tracker failing to report.
Your responsibilities
Keep the tracker charged, mounted, and activated. Only track bikes and property you own. Using it to track another person without their knowledge may be illegal.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the tracker. Nothing here removes rights you have under UK consumer law.
